I got my tea kettle ready, my lawn chair out, and have my alarm set for 3am. Kinda sad that my 300mm (570mm eqivilant with crop) lens isn't in yet. Oh well I guess 60mm is going to have to work.

I'm having mine from about midnight, so I'll be up as well. Of course, that's weather permitting, since it seems to always rain/cloud up whenever there's something important (like the supermoons).

I will be up and getting to work about then. I may go up to the top of the parking deck to see what I can see.

Binoculars will work best if you don't have a telescope, but I think it should still be able to see it with your eyes.
You can see the moon normally, right?

My roommate has an OBSCENELY massive telescope. I'm talking serious optics. But no we won't be staying up. It's hoco week and I need all the rest I can get.

I am in Ottawa canada about 40 miles north of the most upstate part of eastern new York. They said that you would have been able to see it, but for all the cloud cover.

5:00 for me. But I have to wake up early and find a good spot to watch it, as there's a huge dorm building blocking my view.

To me it barely matters. I work at 630 am and then again at 2 tomorrow so I wouldn't be able to stay up or get up. I need my beauty sleep. Lol.

If by "getting up early" you mean walking outside while on night shift... then yes. Yes I am getting up early to watch the eclipse.
